A topsy turvy, zebra striped cake.  I love this one!!
This was for two girls' sweet 16.

Sweet 16 with a Toy Story theme.
Does it get any better than that??

 They didn't think so!

John Deere cake

Nothing runs like a Deere!
I always love cakes that have something to do with things I know about.
I grew up on tractors.
It also helps that I am into pretty much everything.
Girly things, sports, animals... it's all fun!
So I always have a blast doing the cakes.
This one is chocolate cake with chocolate pudding filling.
Even the tractor is made out of cake.

Michigan Wolverines cake

This was for a Michigan Wolverine fan's 30th birthday!
Go Blue!!
Chocolate cake with cream cheese filling.

The Littlest Pet Shop

This was for a little girl's birthday party.  She loves the Littlest Pet Shop so I made her four favorite characters out of fondant, with their plant accessory.
Chocolate cake with buttercream filling and icing.

The turtle with his palm tree.  He was the first character I did so he isn't as smooth as the others, but I really liked his wrinkles.
The crab and his coral were my favorite, and also the birthday girl's!
The dragonfly and her cat tails.  Check out that tail :-)
And the butterfly with her sunflower.

footprints

These are for a baby shower.
It's a girl.  Obviously :-)
12 dozen cupcakes!!

I even found cool little boxes to transport them in.
And I bought a cupcake stand!
Instead of buying your own, you can just rent mine with a cupcake order.
I plan on getting at least three more.

bright topsy turvy

This was for a little girl's first birthday party!
The parents like the bright colors and topsy turvy cakes.
I even hand made the number 1 and the lollipops from fondant.
Chocolate cake with vanilla pudding.
I have been wanting to do a bright girly cake, and I love how this one turned out!!

Tow Mater

This was for my nephews fifth birthday party.
He LOVED it!
This is my favorite cake so far.
It took about 40 hours.
Mater is all cake, covered in fondant.
Everything on this cake is edible, including Mater's wheels, tow hook, Sally, and McQueen.
Twin exhaust
 His hood even says Rust-eze!
"They're called rear view mirrors!  We'll gitcha some!"
 Look at those teeth!!
They might be my favorite part.
"I always have my tow hook!"

a little behind

I am a little behind on updating.
Sorry!!
I have been super busy with my last two cakes though!
I just finished another last night and it turned out so cute!
The one before that is my favorite so far!!
I promise to get them uploaded this weekend though :-)
Hopefully tomorrow morning.

taking orders

I am now taking orders for cakes!!
While I am trying to get a portfolio together, I am doing all the labor on cakes for free!!
So you just have to pay for ingredients.
I can only do a limited number each month because I work full time.
So be sure to book in advanced!!

final cake, course three

This is my first fondant cake.
My final cake for course three.
I am now finished with the classes!!

 And certified!!
I don't know why Blogger likes to rotate images like this...
But I don't know how to fix it :-)
